I have struggled with my weight since high school, more than 35 years ago.
I would be successful every now and then with certain diets, like Jenny Craig, and also with exercise, but I would always gain the weight back. After COVID, I reached my heaviest weight of 253 pounds, wearing a size 18/20, sometimes even a 22.
Then when my doctor suggested adding a third medication to control my high blood pressure, I decided enough was enough.
After learning about balanced nutrition, along with the medication, and with Dr. Jenny and Kristin keeping me educated and motivated about my overall health, I now weigh less than I ever have in my whole adult life.
To date, I have lost 100 pounds and now wear a size 8. I am still working toward my goal, but I already feel truly great. I feel more energized and confident every day.
Dr. Jenny’s program has made a tremendous impact on my life.
The whole team at Seger MD demonstrates genuine care for me, especially Kristin and Dr. Jenny. I still remember leaving my first meeting with Dr. Jenny literally feeling less burdened about my health and excited to keep moving in a positive direction. I finally felt like I found someone who cares and not only will help me, but truly wants to help me.
One of the most incredible parts of this journey is that Dr. Jenny wanted a full overview of my current health and ordered a calcium score. Because of that scan, we found a spot on my lower left lung that turned out to be a slow-growing pulmonary carcinoid tumor.
Dr. Jenny personally called me to discuss the finding, got me connected with an oncologist within a few days, and within a few months, after surgery, the carcinoid was gone. After recovery, I was back on my plan, and today I feel better than ever.
The treatment truly is life-changing for the absolute better.
I have been considered obese most of my life, and with Dr. Jenny’s medical weight loss treatment, it may sound silly, but I broke down in tears when my BMI moved from the red obese line to the yellow overweight line.
Today, I am just 0.9 away from the green healthy/normal weight line.
